Bromus L. (スズメノチャヒキ)
Nisekobansou (ニセコバンソウ, 偽小判草), rattlesnake brome, rattlesnake chess or quake grass, often called as wild oat (for gardening)
Lifeform: annual grass, with 20-80 cm in height
Distribution: native to southwest Eurasia
Habitat: waste areas, disturbed areas and road verges on dry soils
Leaf: blade = 3-13 cm long, lightly hairy
Chromosome number: 2n = 14
