Lifeform: weedy, turfed, perennial grass
Distribution: Himalaya - temperate east Asia, including Japan (Kyushu - Honshu, not distributed in Hokkaido - reported from Fukushima Town in southern Hokkaido)
Habitat: roadsides, wastelands, etc.
Chromosome number: 2n = 80
