Nassella (Trin.) É. Desv. (イトハネガヤ), needlegrass
Itohanegaya (イトハネガヤ, 糸羽茅), Mexican feathergrass, finestem needlegrass, fineleaved nassella and Argentine needle-grass
Lifeform: turfed, perennial grass, with 20-50 cm in height
Distribution: south-western US - northern Mexico - Argentina
Habitat: on rocky slopes, grasslands and pine forests in its native habitat
Chromosome number: 2n = 22
Use: ornamental garden plant - escaped
