Lifeform: vigorous, twinning, (semi-)deciduous shrub
Distributio: northern Africa - Europe (including southern Norway and Sweden) - Turkey - Caucasus
Habitat: woods, hedgerows, scrub and shady places
Pollination: done by moths and long-tongued bees
Fruit: bright red berry
Use: gardening
