Seiyoukajikaede (セイヨウカジカエデ, 西洋梶楓), sycamore (sycomore), false plane-tree, great maple, scottish maple, etc.
Lifeform: tall, deciduous tree < 30 m tall
Distribution: central Europe - southwestern Asia

biologically-invasive to Australia, England and USA

Habitat: Native region - natural component of Betula, Fagus and Abies forests

Invaded region - disturbed habitats, e.g., plantations, abandoned pastures, transportation ways and hedgerows

Use: street tree and bonsai (in Europe) and wood
Cultivars: atropurpureum, brilliantissimum, eck sunset, nizetii, etc.
