Lifeform: annual forb
Distribution (controversial): originally in Europe and Asia, including Japan

Native: Hokkaido and north to Chubu District
(exotic to the other regions in Japan)

Habitat: mesic grasslands
Chromosome number: 2n = 32
Synonyms:

Galeopsis bifida Boenn. var. emarginata Nakai, discarded
