Tairinkakkou (タイリンカッコウ, 大輪郭公), big betony
Lifeform: erect, perennial forb, with 30-80 cm in height
Distribution: Caucasus, northeastern Turkey, and northwestern Iran (exotic to Japan)
Habitat: woodlands and grasslands
Leaf: scalloped cordate
Use: gardening
Cultivars: robusta, superba and violacea
Synonyms:

Stachys macrantha (K. Koch) Stearn, often used
Stachys grandiflora (Willd.) Benth.
