Jasminum L. (ソケイ)
Unnanoubai (ウンナンオウバイ, 雲南黄梅), primrose jasmine or Japanese jasmine
Oubaimodoki (オウバイモドキ, 黄梅擬)
Lifeform: scrambling evergreen shrub < 3 m tall
Distribution: originally in southwestern China and Vietnam

probably can not grow in Hokkaido

Habitat: shrublands and forests on humus-rich soils
Flower: yellow, flowering in early spring
Seed: produced in berry
Chromosome number: 2n = 24 or 26
Use: gardening, hedges, street-side shrubs
Cultivars: semi-double flowered
