Lifeform: deciduous, perennial forb ≈ 0.6 m in height
Distribution: endemic to Japan (central Honshu - Hokkaido)
Habitat: grassy places and forest edges in mountains
Pollination: insect (hermaphrodite flower - self-fertile) Synonyms:
