Lifeform: perennial forb < 10-40 cm tall
Distribution: Japan (south to southwestern Hokkaido) - Korea (Jeju Island)
Habitat: mesic sites along mountain streams
Leaf: developing petiole throughout
Chromosome number: 2n = 56
