Sanguisorba L. (ワレモコウ)
Karaitosou (カライトソウ, 唐糸草), lilac squirrel, Japanese burnet or Hakusan Burnet (all of which are not so common)
Lifeform: deciduous forb with 40-80 cm in height
Distribution: endemic to the Honshu (Alps, Hakusan and Mikuniyama) of Japan)
Habitat: grasslands in alpie nad subalpine zones, gravel grounds
