Life form: evergreen shrub or tree
Origin: probably in India, Vietnam and/or southwestern China
Habitat: mountain hills
Chemicals: caffeine, catechin, theanine, etc.
Synonyms:

- f. macrophylla (Siebold ex Miq.) Kitam. (トウチャ)
