Jinenjo (ジネンジョ, 自然薯), Yamaimo (ヤマイモ, 山芋)
Lifeform: deciduous, perennial vine
Distribution: China - Korea - Japan (south to southeastern Hokkaido) - Taiwan
Habitat: thickets and forest edges
Leaf: basically adverse with long stalk
Rhizophore (担根体): specific to Dioscorea (≠ stem and root)
Use: wild vegetable (rhizophore)
