Lifeform: winter-green perennial fern ≈ 20 cm tall
Distribution: China - Korea - Japan (Hokkaido - Kyushu) - North America
Habitat: sunnry thickets and grasslands in lowlands and mountains, sometimes on roadsides
Leaf: three topes with trilobate or quadrilobate leaflets
