Anaphalis DC (ヤマハハコ) A. margaritacea Benth. et Hook. fil. Lifeform: perennial forb Synonyms: Anaphalis occidentalis (Greene) Heller Gnaphalium margaritaceum L. var. angustifolia (Franch. et Sav.) Hayata (ホソバノヤマハハコ), in south to Kinki District var. angustior (Miq.) Nakai Yamahahako (ヤマハハコ, 山母子), (Japanese) pearly everlasting Habitat: dry and sunny sites (Uesaka & Tsuyuzaki 2004), established in the early stages of volcanic succession in Hokkaido (Tsuyuzaki 1991)

Flower: dioecious Flora on: Mount Koma, Mount Usu Synonyms: - ssp. margaritacea - ssp. angustior (Miq.) Kitam. var. yedoensis (Franch. et Sav.) Ohwi (カワラハハコ, 河原母子), leaf width ≤ 2 mm (not adopted in Hokkaido) Habitat: riversides Synonyms: Anaphalis yedoensis (Franch. et Sav.) Maxim. - ssp. yedoensis (Franch. et Sav.) Kitam.
