Itobaharusyagiku (イトバハルシャギク, 糸葉春車菊), whorled tickseed, whorled coreopsis, thread-leaved tickseed, thread leaf coreopsis, and pot-of-gold
Shukkonkosumosu (シュッコンコスモス, 宿根秋桜)
Lifeform: perennial forb with less than 1 m tall
Distribution: primarily in the east-central United States between Maryland and Georgia, with a few isolated populations
Habitat: dry, thin woods and open pinelands in the native regions
Use: gardening
