O-murasakitsuyukusa (ムラサキオオツユクサ, 紫大露草), wandering jew, purple secretia, purple-heart, or purple queen
Murasakigoten (ムラサキゴテン, 紫御殿)
Life form: evergreen perennial forb
Distribution: native to the Gulf Coast region of eastern Mexico
Habitat: escapded to roadsides and waste lands (in Japan)

→ invasive specie in the southern United States and Australia
→ low-cold torerance

Chromosome number: 2n = 18, or 24
Use: ornamental plant and gardening
Cultivars (when used): Purple Heart
