Chaenorhinum (ヒナウンラン) Hina-unran (ヒナウンラン, 雛海蘭), dwarf snapdragon (US and Canada) or small toadflax (Europe) Lifeform: annual forb Distribution (origin): south and central Europe Japan 1993: firstly reported from Kisarazu City, Chiba 2000s - early 2010s: expanded in south to Honshu 2015: frstly reported from Hokkaido at JR Komagatake Station in Mori Town late 2010s -: expanding its range

Habitat: in gardens and around railways, as well as roadsides and industrial sites Leaf: alternate with glandular hairs (sepals as well) ssp. anatolicum P. H. Davis, Ukraine, south European Russia, Turkey, Syria, northern Iraq and Transcaucasia ssp. idaeum (Rech. f.) R. Fern., Crete ssp. minus, Europe, Turkey, Morocco and Algeria ssp. pseudorubrifolium Gamisans, Corsica
