Matsuba-unran (マツバウンラン, 松葉海蘭), Canada toadflax, or oldfield toadflax
Lifeform: (annual or) biennial forb, with 20-60 cm tall
Distribution: native to the North America, exotic to Japan (south to Tohoku District)
Habitat: roadsides, and grasslands
Stem: fascicled
Leaf: linear with 1-2 mm wide Inflorescence: racemiform
Chromosome number: 2n = 12
Synonyms:

Nuttallanthus canadensis (L.) D. A. Sutton

var. texana (Scheele) Pennell (オオマツバウンラン), corolla ≈ 12 mm long with a long spur
