Harihijiki (ハリヒジキ, 針鹿尾菜/針羊栖菜), prickly russian thistle
Lifeform: annual forb < 10-40 cm high
Distribution: originally in Eurasia, exotic to Japan (northern Honshu - Hokkaido)
Habitat: sandy coasts
