Kumazasa (クマザサ, 隈笹), Veitch's bamboo
Lifeform: evergreen dwarf shrub
Distribution: mainly in the Japan Sea side of northern Japan (uncluear, due to the enourmous transplantation and escape)
Leaf: 20-25 cm long, margins become white (pale yellow) in winter
Habitat: unclear, but growing in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soils for gardening
Utilization: ground cover, gardening, Kumazasa tea
