Ehimeayame (エヒメアヤメ, 愛媛菖蒲), long-tail iris
Lifeform: rhizomatous, perennial forb
Distribution: China - Korea - Japan (south to Chugoku District and Shikoku Island)
Habitat: meadows and grasslands at forest margins (China), in sparse Pinus densiflora forests (Japan)
Flower: 1-2 purple-violet on the top
Chromosome number: 2n = 32 or 34
