Galium L. (ヤエムグラ)
Togenashimugura (トゲナシムグラ, 刺無葎), wild madder, white bedstraw, upright bedstraw, whorled bedstraw or hedge bedstraw
Lifeform: perennial forb, developing grassy thicket, with 15-100 cm in height

less erect with ascending branches

Distribution: naturally in Europe (exotic to Japan and North America)
Habitat: road sides, river banks, etc.
Leaf: whorls of six to eight leaves
Stem: with no spines and with four ridges
Chromosome number: 2n = 22
Synonyms:
