Lifeform: evergreen perennial fern < 1 m high → Number of veins
Distribution: China - Taiwan - Korea - southern Japan (south to Kanto District)
Habitat: floor and edge of forests
Sorus: developing on the margins of leaflets
Chromosome number: n = 29 (2x), or 58 (4x)
