Miyamawarabi (ミヤマワラビ, 深山蕨), northern beech fern or long beech fern
Lifeform: summergreen fern, developing stoloniferous rhizomes
Distribution: temperate regions in the Northern Hemisphere (lowlands in Hokkaido and Tohoku ↔ highlands > 1000 m a.s.l. in Kinki and Shikoku
Habitat: floors of deciduous forests
Chromosome number: n= 30 or 'n' = 90
