Ligustrum L. (イボタ)
Tounezumimochi (トウネズミモチ, 唐鼠黐), glossy privet
Lifeform: evergreen, short tree
Distribution: southern China (introduced to Japan in Meiji Era)
Habitat: escaped in temperate regions (south to Miyagi Prefecture)

→ potentially invasive species

Leaf vein: clearly seen ↔ L. japonicum = unclear
Seed dispersal: animal
Fruit: globular ↔ L. japonicum ≈ ellipse or oblong
Use: street tree, because of high tolerance of air pollution
