firstly reported from Shiroyama in Kagoshima Prefecture

Lifeform: larage, evergreen fern, producing sporophylls
Distribution: tropical and subtropical regions in Asia (including south to Kyushu, Japan, and sporadically reported from Shizuoka and Wakayama)
Habitat: mainly in moist forest
Leaf: lustered surface
