Nekonomesou (ネコノメソウ, 猫ノ目草), Gray golden saxifrage
Lifeform: stoloniferous (short-lived) perennial forb, flowering shoot < 20 cm high
Distribution: Korea - Japan (Honshu and Hokkaido) - Kurile
Habitat: mesic sites, e.g., riverbed,bog and pond ⇒ wetland (湿原)
Leaf: opposite leaves; green, and yellow close to flowers
Stamens = 4 (→ C. kamtschaticum = 8)
Chromosome number: 2n = 22

[1] lost the record of date (before 1990). The location was probably the foot of Mount Teine. [2] along a forest road in Shimokawa Town, northern Hokkaido, on May 27 2016. [3] along Horonai River in Tomakomai Experimental Forest on June 25 2012. [4-6] in the Tsukigaumi Nature Park (月ヶ湖自然公園) on October 8 2017.
