Lifeform : erect, evergreen shrub with 1-2 m in height

Distribution: tropical Asia (Malesia - Papuasia)

naturalized to the other regions

Habitat: secondary forests, roadsides, etc.
Flower: usuaslly red (white in a few cultivars)
Chromosome number: 2n = 112
Use: houseplant
