Phyllanthus L. (コミカンソウ) Nagaekomikansou (ナガエコミカンソウ, 長柄小蜜柑草), Mascarene Island leaf flower Burajirukomikansou (ブラジルコミカンソウ) Lifeform: deciduous, short shrub or perennial forb, with 20-50 cm tall Distribution: the Mascarene Islands (east of Madagascar, the Indian Ocean) invasive to other tropical and subtropical regions, including southern Japan (reported after 1990) Habitat: as a weed in flower beds, gardens, roadsides, and other disturbed areas
