Kidachimatsuyoigusa (キダチマツヨイグサ, 木立待宵草), narrow-leaved sundrops or narrowleaf evening primrose
Akajikumatsuyoigusa (アカジクマツヨイグサ, 赤軸待宵草)
Lifeform: perennial forb with 20-90 cm tall
Distribution: native to eastern North America
Habitat: open habitats, including dry woodlands, rock outcrops and moist savannas
Use: gardening, street flower, etc.
ssp. glauca (Michx.) Straley (シモフリマツヨイグサ), syn. Oenothera glauca Michx.
Varieties: many, including cultivars, but controversial
