Lifeform: perennial forb
Distribution: native to the South Africa (escaped and established in south to Honshu, Japan) (⇒ exotic pink-flowered Oxalis)
Habitat: roadsides and grasslands, escaped from gardening

introduced after Meiji Era
establishement reported from Kagoshima Prefecture in 1961

Leaf: characterized by many violet spots
