Hitodekazura (ヒトデカズラ, 海星蔓), lacy tree philodendron or selloum, horsehead philodendron
Lifeform: evergreen, large perennial forb, producing aerial roots
Distribution: South America (Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina and Paraguay)

firstly imported to Koishikawa Botanical Garden (小石川植物園) in early Showa Era

Habitat: tropical humid forests
Use: ornamental, landscape tree
Synonyms:

Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum (Schott ex Endl.) Sakur., Calazans et Mayo, recently assigned
Philodendron bipinnatifidum Schott ex Endl., sometimes separated from P. selloum
