Hakone-azami (ハコネアザミ, 箱根薊), Iga-azami (イガアザミ, 毬薊)
Lifeform: perennial forb ≈ 1-2 m tall when flowering
Distribution: endemic to Japan (between Kanto District and southern Chubu District)
Habitat: forests and grasslands
