Natumikan (ナツミカン, 夏蜜柑), Japanese summer orange
Natudaidai (ナツダイダイ, 夏橙) = species epithet
Natsukan (ナツカン, 夏柑)

Lifeform: evergreen short tree ≈ 3 m tall (bark, 樹皮)
Origin: firstly cultivated Yamaguchi Prefecture in Japan

spread out from the prefecture (the symbolic flower of Yamaguchi Prefecture)

Leaf: narrow-winged stalk
Stem: sometimes developing spines
Flower: white → ripened in the next year
Fruit (edible): aromatic, yellow or orange
Seed dispersal: animal
Use: gardening
f. kawanonatsudaidai (アマナツカン, 甘夏柑), discovered in O-ita Prefecture in 1935
