Chimakizasa (チマキザサ, 粽笹), palmata bamboo and broadleaf bamboo
Lifeform: evergreen dwarf shrub
Distribution: Korea - Japan - Kuril

Honshu: mostly in Japan Sea side

Habitat: Sasa shrublands, forest floor
Leaf: backside = hairless ↔ S. senanensis = dense hair
Synonyms:
