Lonicera L. (スイカズラ)
Aragehyoutanboku (アラゲヒョウタンボク, 粗毛瓢箪木)
Obahyoutanboku (オオバヒョウタンボク, 大葉瓢箪木)
Lifeform: deciduous shrub ≈ 1-2 m tall
Distribution: Japan (south to southwestern Hokkaido - Shikoku)
Habitat: sunny sites, occasionally in coastal forests
Seed dispersal: red fruits eaten by animals
var. glabra Nakai (ダイセンヒョウタンボク), hairless on ovary and style, endemic to western Honshu and Shikoku
f. glabrifolia (Ohwi) H. Hara (ナンブヒョウタンボク)
f. lancifolia Hayashi (ホソバアラゲヒョウタンボク)
