Lifeform: summergreen fern
Distribution: eastern Asia, including south to the Hokuriku District of Japan
Habitat: weedy in various disturbed habitats, such as secondary forests, forest roads and cropfields
Terminal pinna: clearly separated ↔ T. parasitica: becoming gradually short, and un-develped or unclearly-developed
Chromosome number: n = 36
