Habitat: forest floor, mesic forest edge, etc.

[1-3] in the crater basin (flora) on July 27 2016. [4] seedlings emerged from a soil sample collected from Mount Usu. The seedlings emerged directly on an inflorescence, taken in the greenhouse of Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, on November 21 2018.
