Seri (セリ, 芹), cicely, Japanese parsley or Chinese celery
Lifeform: perennial forb
Distribution: widespread in the Northern Hemisphere and Australia
Habitat: sunny, mesic or moist sites, such as lake sides and abondoned rice fields
Use: edible (The seven spring herbs, 春の七草)
