Lifeform: annual or biennial forb
Distribution: widespread in the temperate regions of Eurasia, including Japan (south to Honshu)
Habitat: sunny sites, such as grasslands and roadlsies
Seed: self-dispersal, germinated in autumn in Japan
Chromosome number: 2n = 12, or 24
