[1] This plant was originated from seedbank in the former topsoil under thick volcanic deposits collected in 2008, 30 years after the 1977-78 eruptions. The samples were germinated in a greenhouse. [2] A inflorescence in the crater basin of Mount Usu on July 14 2009. [3] near the 4th crater in the crater basin on June 7 1984. The specimens are kept in SAPS.
