Toriashishouma (トリアシショウマ, 鳥足升麻)
Lifeform: deciduous, perennial forb ≈ 40-100 cm tall
Distribution: endemic to Japan (Hokkaido and north to central Honshu
Habitat: grasslands and forest floors
Use: young shoots (before leaf flushing) = edible
Chromosome number: 2n = 14
