Dryopteris Adans. (オシダ)
Tougokushida (トウゴクシダ, 東谷羊歯), wide-leaf autumn fern (not fixed)
Lifeform: evergreen perennial fern < 1 m high
Distribution: Probably endemic to Japan (but not in Hokkaido)
Habitat: (secondary) forest floor in montane zones
Morphology: often confusing with D. erythrosora
Chromosome number: n = 123 (3x)
Synonyms:

Dryopteris cystolepidota (Miq.) C. Chr. sens. auct.
Dryopteris erythrosora (D. C. Eaton) Kuntze var. dilatata (Koidz.) Sugimmoto
