Taiwania Hayata (タイワンスギ)
Taiwansugi (タイワンスギ), Taiwan cryptomeria
Lifeform: evergreen coniferous tree, occasionally becoming more than 50 m tall
Distribution: central Taiwan and locally in southwest China and adjoining Myanmar and northern Vietnam
Habitat: coniferous, broad-leaved, or mixed evergreen valley forests
Cone: small, 15–25 mm long
Synonyms:

Taiwania flousiana Gaussen, controversial, syn. Taiwania cryptomerioides var. flousiana (Gaussen) Silba
Taiwania yunnanensis Koidz.
