Bromus L. (スズメノチャヒキ)
Yakunaga-inumugi (ヤクナガイヌムギ, 葯長犬麦), mountain brome or California brome
Lifeform: weedy, perennial grass ≈ 1 m high
Distribution: naitive to North America (exotic to Japan, introduced for meadow)
Habitat: roadsides, openlands and dry grasslands

Flowering: earlier than B. catharticus
