Distribution: Russia - China - Korea - Japan (☛ 実習出現種リスト)
Habitat: seacoast, wetlands
Chromosome number: 2n = 30
var. yezoensis (Koidz.) Kitam. (エゾナミキソウ), short hair upwards from the crests of stem
Distribution: Hokkaido and Honshu (northern parts and Nagano Prefecture)

RDB: threatened (VU)

Habitat: wetlands between lowlands and highlands
Leaf: sharp top (controversial)
Stem: hair only on the crest

The specimen is stored in SAPS.
