Uwabamisou (ウワバミソウ, 蟒蛇草/蟒草)
Lifeform: deciduous, perennial forb with 20-60 cm tall
Distribution: China - Korea - Japan (except in Ryukyu)
Habitat: near mountain stream, in mesic forests, on mosit rocky surfaces
Stem: reddish ↔ E. laetevirens = green
Edible: green, young shoot
Synonyms:

Elatostema umbellatum Blume var. majus Maxim.
Elatostema japonicum Wedd. var. majus (Maxim.) H. Nakai et H. Ohashi
