[1-3] The plants emerged from soil samples collected in Hotoke Swamp, Aomori Prefecture, northernmost, Honshu Japan, by Kimura H. To estimate seedbank composition. these samples were collected and used for seed germination experiments in a greenhouse of Center of Advanced Science and Technology (CAST), HU. The photos were taken on November 29 2008 (Kimura & Tsuyuzaki 2011, 露崎他 2007)
