Bergenia Moench (ヒマラヤユキノシタ)
Himarayayukinoshita (ヒマラヤユキノシタ), Himalayan creeping saxifrage
Ooiwauchiwa (オオイワウチワ, 大岩団扇)
Lifeform: evergreen perennial forb ≈ 10-20 cm tall

stems shorter and leaves smaller than B. crassifolia

Distribution: native to Afghanistan and Himalaya, ranging from 2700-4700 m elevation

cold tolerant

Habitat: rocky surfaces in alpine and forest zones

escaped from gardening in the case of Japan
